I'm working on a site on Wordpress right now and I want to sell a bunch of downloads through Paypal. I'm looking at their Website Payments Standard (which is essentially an HTML form with a button) but it doesn't seem scalable. I would have to create a button for each product, and go through Paypal to do it. Is there a better solution?

Take pictures of you literally dropping the package into USPS's hands.

Ah yes. Damn people. I'm looking into a shopping cart solution now too, maybe E-junkie.

Thats a good point. Read the various webmaster forums about paypal and digital goods in the last 1.5 years, and what can and more then not happens to most accounts.

I was thinking about this as I sell digital products - wouldn't it be easy enough to send customers a CD with the file on it (in addition to their download) so you could say you sent them the product? Sure, it costs a few bucks to ship, but it might pay off in the long run.

    Ya? Nay? :dunno:

Sorry, paypal used to be a good merchant solution.
Sadly, it is one of the worst choices now.

I suppose I am just lucky, but in 9 years of using them I've had one complaint, and PayPal sided with me (I was the seller). I'm more afraid of my Visa/MC processor doing a chargeback if I went through them.
