Anyone use either hostgator.com or siteground.com?

Looking to use one of these for a forum for an organization. Probably use vbulletin. They both claim to be great hosts for vbulletin with templates (etc.) to download.

Anyone use either of these hosts? Any feedback? Customer service? Setup easy?

    Thanks.

I have a hostgator account. Seems Oter's hate them but I haven't had any problems in the 7-8 months I've been using them:dunno:

If you need something simple and cheap with a shit load of bandwidth, give them a try. You have 40(might be 45) days to cancel and get a refund if you don't like them.

The solar power host is a novel concept...kind of a neat idea.

I've had no problems and super fast hosting. I was averaging 1000+ users on my site (at one time) all day one day on a $7/month shared hosting account with absolutely no problems.

I have no problem with hostgator other than they wouldn't let me provide an image hosting site unless I purchased a dedicated server. Image hosting sites are a security risk anyways so I had no problem getting rid of it. I was considering it for a while anyways. I have all my other sites hosted with them and have no issues.

I've been with Hostgator for probably 5 years now?

Never had a problem. Usually quick service in the couple times I've had issues.

I have my dedicateds on theplanet.com NEVER an issue with them.

I have a "machine" over @ aiso.net. Their support is fast, but overall it has not been an experience I would recommend. (Not to mention they are all VPS's that they push off as dedicated.)
