I tried one box in my XD and it didnt do so well, the other box jammed only a couple times.

My friend got from his step dad 500rds of CCI Blazer in .45acp he said he would sell me for $50 for all.

My Springfield WWII Replica loves the stuff. Since I don't reload, I prefer not wasting the brass.
The only gun I have had a problem with CCI Blazer was a .357Magnum Model 19. The cases would bulge and were very hard to extract.

CCI blazers are the only things that work flawlessly through my DE... that was cuz my recoil springs were toast though. I haven't tried them in my kimber though.

They work great in all of 1911's. Colt Gold cup, custom Dan Wesson, and springer GI.

Well I know if you read the box for CCI stuff its designed to be a target practice round so the load is lighter compared to normal loads. The round itself is actually lighter as well. For the record im comparing .44 magnum cci vs standard .44mag.

Im with you guys I dont see how the case has anything to do with the barrel? Are you thinking cuz its aluminum it will KB in the chamber? If so thats got nothign to do with the casing its got to do with your chamber. Please elaborate in your comments about aluminum vs brass cases.

So your getting free CCI Blazers is that what I read earlier? I dont think you'll have any problems with them honestly unless you have put in some heavy duty recoil springs or something. I noticed that the CCI stuff is extremely light compared to standard rounds. Sometimes though the DE I like putting in the extra hot stuff... my accuracy goes out the window by the smile on my face says I dont give a fuck. :mamoru:

Well if you cant tell me why through personal experience then I dont care. I told Y2kAccord my personal experience with them and I leave it up to him. I like em, my DE likes em, I haven't any problems with the 3000 plus rounds I've used. So im confident he wont either.

CAUTION!-DO NOT USE ALUMINUM CASED AMMUNITION WITH THE SUB-2000 RIFLE. Doing so could result in malfunctions.

OK, I am not shooting that one rifle.. :mamoru:

According to your link the ammo is fine for plinking if you dont plan to reload

Q: How strong is a Blazer case?
A: The yield strength of Blazer cases is in the 65,000-70,000 psi range. We load to half this, giving us a 100 percent safety margin. The strength comes from heat-treatment of this special grade of aluminum.

I don't like the Aluminum cased ammo. I've had more than 1 case seperation usuing the Blaser ammo:

CCI aluminum case on left, hydrashok on right. The CCI case seperated at the base of the bullet seat. When fired, the bullet lodge halfway down the barrel, slightly canted over, with the remainder of the case still attached.
I will say that this happened about 6 years ago, and the quality MAY have improved now. Personally, I'd rather pay the little extra, and not have to replace another barrel.
