    Anyone tried this mother fucker?

I saw one of these fuckers on TV the other day. I never buy that infomercial shit, but something like this would be pretty convenient for me if it works as advertised. The foreman grill used to be on infomercials and i use the shit outta that.

Any of you guys have a Nuwave oven? and ifso, is it complete shit or what?

    :hsd:

My parents have an infrared turkey 'fryer' and it's pretty kick ass. It's not as good as a oil fried turkey, but it's 1000x better than an oven baked turkey. It's pretty fast too, usually about 1.5-2 hours for a decent sized turkey

you can cook basically anything in there from roast to turkeys

it's kind of expensive up front, but with peanut oil being $40 now, it pays for itself

I bought one of these fucking things today at Dillards. It was 139.00 +tax.
Its smaller then i thought it was gonna be, but it came with the extender ring.

I just cooked 3 thawed chicken breast straight out of the fridge. it took about 10 minutes , flipping them once.

I dont wanna sound like a queer or nothing, but this thing kicks ass. The chicken breasts came out fully cooked, tender and juicy. Supposedly you can put stuff in there straight from the freezer, i'll try that tomorrow.

I'm gonna try cooking some beef in it soon. If it cooks other meats as good as the chicken, then it just replaced my foreman grill.

How is it more convenient than a regular oven? I've never seen the infomercial.

uses less power, faster, cooks from the outside in, so it retains more of the juices

A conventional oven doesn't cook from the outside in? Really? :hsugh:

I'm all for whatever's easiest. Chuck it in the dishwasher after cooking and you're good to go sounds appealing; hopefully nothing sticks to it. And if cooking faster is something you really want, sounds like a winner.

I don't think I'd be able to bulk-cook my meals for a week with something like it, but if that's not your style, give it a try.

edit: are we talking about the nuwave or the amazon thing you linked?

The nuwave oven has literally been a life saver for me. Some know of my condition and some do not, but I have been using this since I found out I was doing bad and have managed to lose 87.4 pounds since Dec. 3 with this thing. It is crazy how much oil comes off of stuff with it and the food is still really good and it isn't dry at all. It is so much easier for me too because I normally work long hours and keep everything frozen, so I can just come home and put everything on there without thawing.

It cooks stuff great, I am actually about to cook a tuna steak on there right now and those have always turned out good for me as well. Frozen chicken or ground beef work great too. I have not actually tried to cook a steak on there, as I do not eat too much beef anymore, but I am sure it would be fine as well.

    I would highly recommend it.

It is worth it, you shouldn't be dissapointed. It gets rid of so much excess fat that you would otherwise be ingesting too while it cooks it much quicker.
