i installed kismet but everytime i run it
    i keep getting
FATAL: Unknown interface eth0: No such device
and my wireless uses wlan0, why would it worry about eth0? anyways i tried google but documentation is so shitty, a lot of it is for redhat and some webpages say to edit the “/usr/local/etc/kismet.conf“ file which i dont even have, i installed using apt-get

    anyone have any suggestions?

kismet.conf might be under /etc if you installed it via rpm. Try to find that file and tell it to use the right interface
