I personally have Luke as my pick to win tomorrow night. I think he's a smart enough fighter to be able to keep Stevenson out of his game plan.

Either way, it's going to be the fight of the night.

I'd like to think Luke would win, but Joe is really too good on the ground. Definitely going to be a good fight though. I also think Rashad will beat brad pretty badly.

yeah like, vonflue has a pretty good anti-grapple wiggle and scramble and he had no answer for joe.

I WANT Luke to win. I just think Joe is gonna steamroll him.

I think regardless of the outcome Luke will still get a contract. He's the only standout personality of this season. Everyone on the internet loves him.

everybody has a punchers chance in an MMA fight. If the fight stays standing I think Joe gets KTFO, but I don't think Joe wants any part of Luke on the feet. I see Joe taking Luke down and pounding out a win in the first round.

Luke's sub defense hasn't impressed me so I don't know if he'll be able to do very well against Joe. He needs to really step up his ground game. Joe really is in a league of his own. He's not just talented but he's also very smart and confident.

to say he doesn't have a chance is stupid

no doubt that luke has been training solely on defending the shot/takedown but that may make him gunshy like melvin. Luke seems to relish going forward constantly but with joe that's a great way to getting slammed.

Tbh is see Joe winning convincingly but at the same time i see a possibility that luke frustrates him like rashad did to whitehead.

the problem with luke winning is that he'll have to go through 3 stevenson types in GSP, Sherk and Hughes. not to mention trigg, diaz and karo. Then you have diego aswell. Then lyttle, riggs as the outliers. That list is impressive no matter which way you look at it.

Practically all of them are ground specialists and sometimes the only way to beat a wrestler is to take him him down and ground and pound yourself.

well luke's basic ground game looks solid enough, with time it could definately improve

Joe will beat Luke. I would like Luke to win, but it isn't going to happen. The fight goes to Joe in either the 1st or early 2nd round.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Brad wins. I can see him really improving between semis and tommorow because of the amount of time between then.

Though he will most likely loose, Luke always has a chance of hitting him with one solid strike which can change everything. Joe's a great fighter, but I'd rather watch Luke fight anyday. Same with Seth, unfortunately he couldn't pull it out.

Anyone know how long ago the show was filmed?

I think it has been a few months. Luke just seems like the type who would have fixed the right holes in his game to take on someone like Joe.

We'll see tonight... should be some good fights.

    3 months i think

what i can't beleive is that they've ditched half of the cast from the card.
No Von Flue, Jorge, Seth, Murphy, Christianson, macDonald, Whitehead, Torres, Eli.

Burkman, Melvin and Schall didn't make it past the first fight. I'm guessing he brough back Jardine Morgan because they really came to fight but why then bring back Marcus "really i'm not that Irish" Davies. I guess they must be saving them for UFN events in the future.

Jorge has at least another 6 months of rehab for that knee I'd guess. Christianson and Whitehead both choked once on TV, and were both wondering if they would keep fighting. Eli left a bad taste in Dana's mouth. I wouldn't even hazard a guess on the others.

How long does a labrum take to repair/rehab?
Von Flue's website says he's fighting in the next three months for the ufc.

I think you're right about saving the others for a UFN... as they should. There were some good fighters this season that I would really like to see fight again.

On the other hand, there were some pretty crappy on there as well that I would be happy never to see on tv again.
