I just finished listening to it on audiobook. Pretty intense, although they focused a lot more on the main character's family than I expected.

Cliffs : It's about the aftermath of an EMP attack on the continental US.

read it about a month ago

One of the best books that I have read in a long time. Passed my copy around to anyone who would read it after I got finished.

Made it easier for my wife to understand our emergency closet, and made us both very thankful that no one in our immediate family has high maintenance medical issues.

    Also learned:

Don't go to old folks homes

Stock up on cartons of smokes

Stock up on even more .22 shells

In the book, nothing is hardened sufficiently. Errthing goes down.

I got this book from the library last night and have already read 230 pages.

    :noes:

I am not prepared for something of that magnitude.
