I'm getting sick of waiting for the new Kel-Tec to come out and chances are the Kahr will be better quality, anyway. It's only slightly bigger. Has anyone had any experience with the Kahr? Is it worth the hefty price tag? Should I just keep holding out for the Kel-Tec? I want something small but I think the P3AT might have a little less punch than I want. I might also just get a lightweight .357 J-frame to tide me over, too. What do you guys think?

Man check the glock talk kahr club forums....it sure doesn't sound like they're quality. Big time hit or miss, bad customer service, and expensive price. I dont think its a gamble I'd take right now.

The new keltec is the same size as the p11 but thinner. I think thats still too big.

Light .357's aren't fun to practice with I hear. I kinda like the p3at. With a +1 mag extension I can carry 8 rounds of .380 in a very easy to hide package. I wish it were 9mm but...

From what I read the all metal ones are. The polymer frame Kahrs apparently suck, though. I might just hold out for the Kel-Tec since it'll be half the cost. That and it comes with a light rail :p. I'm still trying to figure out who would buy a gun like that and then put a light on it.

Even when the zombies do rise I think I'll be grabbing a bigger gun. 6 round mags ftl against zombie hordes.

I've talked to 2 ppl. that have PM9's and they say nothing but good things. One of the guy's is a LEO and that's what he carries off duty all the time, and he also works at the local gun shop.

...............but I have read that they are hit and miss also.

From what I can tell the newer ones are fine. You just have to make sure that it has a late serial number. Too bad the only place I can find them at is Sportsman's Warehouse and they want over $600 for them.

I picked up a Kahr K9 Elite 03 for a friend last month . It is the shit, except, that it's a pain in the ass to break down, and reassemble.

PS, the guide-rod? sucks ass. It came with a metal one. It has this screw end cap thingy. Shit kept getting loose during shooting. Put some red loctite on it, to see if it'll stay in place.
