If so, what are your thoughts? Pros/Cons?

Researching these a little and want some perspective from the WMD crew.

    Thanks.

My buddie bought a 3" hammerless Judge not too long ago.

He has only shot 410 00 buck through it and he hates it.

I told him to try some .45LCs and some .410 #4 shot. Hasn't yet. I think they are neat weapons... nothing to practical IMO.

Friend has one and he loves it. He picked up some 260 or 280gr .45 lc at the gun show and said it kicks more than the s&w 500.

Ive always wondered if the buckshot would screw up the rifling in the barrel

I kinda doubt they would have released the judge if such a thing could occur.

A guy had one at the skeet range a week or so ago. I let him shoot my saiga and he let me have a go with the judge. Interesting little gun, kicks pretty good. I couldn't hit shit with it though. I wouldn't buy one.

I have one that I thoroughly enjoy. I also keep mine loaded with .410 buck in the night stand...pretty convinced the the noise/flash/pain will stop most anyone, not to mention make a mess of things.

Not really. The recoil from my judge is not much (if any) more than from my 92fs

Prolly not gonna happen. Look at this at 10ft

I have yet to be convinced that shooting .410 shells of any flavor out of a judge is a better self-defense option than .45LC.

I believe that there's a handy shot cup on shotshells to prevent them from messing up the rifling.

Pretty cool little wheel guns. I'm not sure I see purpose enough to actually purchase one for my collection, but a cool idea none the less.

I've got one on my 'list', but it's way on down there. Only reason I want one is for the novelty factor, and as a snake gun.
