My wife has an 06' vue with the Honda motor. Interesting that Saturn is changing out engines. They're putting in a GM motor that makes 250hp and 243lbs torque compared to the 3.5-liter Honda engine which produces 250 horsepower and 242lbs of torque.

I guess buyers are demanding that extra foot lb of torque!! :mamoru:

I actually like the Vue Redline. Saturns were somewhat decent when they came out, but my gf's ion has been nothing but problems. The interior is horrid between the plastic dashboard and the crappy lookingseats that look like they came off an 1980's Jetliner.

Don't buy the facelifted Vue, it is hilariously ugly. The first Vue Redlines look acceptable.

The original Vue went through one facelift and was US-engineered with a Honda engine in the Redline. The new one that just came out is actually a Daewoo Winstrom with a Cadillac V6 that Opel and Saturn both sell.

One of the big selling points for us is that the Vue had the Honda motor. Reliability issues with GM products hasn't always been a strong selling point.
