They're fun to just play with, but I would never spend money on one. A real heavy bag >>>>> than that and much cheaper

    Its adjustable.

When i hit my heavy bag usually aim my punches above my head because I dont imagine myself fighting another midget.

I think the height is adjustable.

between this and the coat hanger what's with all the gimmicky stuff you want? i'm telling you man, there's absolutely nothing wrong with a plain old bag full of sand.

    Wanna fight? :big grin:

Edit: There's one where I train now. It's amusing to throw head kicks at, but I prefer a real heavy bag.

shit sucks... i hate these types of stands. i have a bottom weighted bag similar to this, and honestly if you go to town on it, it just lifts up and topples over.

good deal, I like using them to target increase accuracy of kicks and strikes...they do weeble and wobble but it provides better visualization...and at the price it's a score.

Those things are retarded and $150 is high.

The mook jong i got for free so I dont care so much.
I have a bunch of stuff, I guess i want to have a gym at home.

2 sets of boxing gloves, 1 set of bag gloves, 2 sets of mma gloves, shin guards, helmet + plastic cover, heavy bag, focus mitts, muay thai pads, grappling mats (which are shitty).

I'd love to get a double ended bag, that was a lot of fun to work with at my gym.

When I was learning how to bob/weave/slip I hot glue gunned a tennis ball to a string and just let it sway back and forth while I practiced.

No thank you! But i'll spar for fun.

I'd definitely have to hit it before I buy it.
I wish I could head kick maybe in a year or something.

yeah slip bags are nice. you can get a speed bag and just tie a rope to the end of it and use that for a slightly less ghetto approach.

you can get a double end bag for like $30. do it up. definitely a great tool once you learn to use it.

When you hit it, you'll see why everyone thinks it's so lame.

It's ok for accuracy related stuff, but the head flops around when you hit it hard and the body is like punching a padded wall.
