Midway has Remington .308 for about $.27/case if you buy the case of 1000. But, it's backordered.

That stuff is about $.30/case. Still not a bad price.

This stuff is just a tad nicer than Remington; Midway sells the factory first for $36.99/50 or about $.74 a case :hsugh:

Wow when you can get surplus .308 with thick nato brass for about $.50 a round, who pays .74 for a case?

I think a lot of you are missing the point of this, surplus brass is cheaper because it's surplus brass. Why buy a rifle from GAP when you can get 20 Mosins for the same price? I mean they're both rifles so theres no difference, right?

The primer pockets are drilled instead of punched, the necks are sized, and its weight sorted to +/- 0.5 grains. If you're just reloading to throw it through an FAL this isn't a big deal but if you're loading for a precision rifle quality cases are where you start. The stuff I linked to is cosmetically blemished but at that price its cheaper than factory remington/winchester and a lot better quality.

Thats why I asked :big grin: I didn't know there was so much difference past life of brass.

For the time being my $100 ishapore will have to eat cheap :big grin: I just paid more for 200 rounds of ammo than I did for the gun.
