Anyone make their own jerky?

    I'm staying at my parents house for a month and ound out that he has a dehydrator.

    Any good recipes for jerky?

    I did search, missed that thread because it was labeled Need a Supplier, turns out it was full of good recipe tips

    i've been doing it for a while, and it's fking awesome.


    my marinade consists of:

    -Worcestercire
    -Soy
    -Honey
    -Liquid Smoke
    -Chilli Pepper
    -garlic

    I almost turned pan fry steaks into jerky by accident on the barbeque just 5minutes ago.

    Making Alton Browns recipe, Using low sodium soy sauce, and added a few extra spices into the mix.


    Marinating it now

    I meant to do a step by step EDU, but totally forgot to take pics. Maybe if this batch comes out well I will.

    my dad tried to start a business on his beef jerky skills but gave up halfway through cause of all the regualtions and liscence bullshit, if anyone wants to try it out just PM me. Or ask OTer bursty about it. just dont get all uppity about no nutrition label. :ike i said he quit halfway through. all i can get are ingredients
