A2, lightly used, maybe used it once at work for a night shift or two, other than that it's mint.

Looking for AR parts, specifically Magpul darth earth stocks of any kind, forearm rails, BUIS, optics, etc, etc. Or XD40 nightsights or performance parts.

Also posted on EE on arfcom, just thought I'd see if anyone here was interested.

The Identify Friend Or Foe thing is awesome, I used the shitty night vision I have and checked it out at night, fuckin' things bright.

But the blue will help you track the blood trail of the filthy terrorist who you just eviscerated via weapon of minor destruction. :noes:

Red would preserve my night vision. Why does no one buy this? The best headlamp I've ever seen costs 14 bucks at walmart. 1 xenon lamp, 1 blue/white LED, 2 red LEDs.

Not directed at either of you... personal pet peeve.

A2 is worth it. Mine lives in my armor.

IR filter on your weaponlight not allow the same thing?

I don't see IR LEDs lighting up quite enough to be useful without a reflector.

I can see how that would be a problem. That reflector is fucking ridiculous. What's it on?

Don't put anything expensive like that on a fire helmet. Between heat, water, and all the different goops that drop on your head while you're working, you'd ruin that light, IF it stayed on your helmet the whole time. I lost a Surefire X200 trying that shit. By "lost" I mean "someone stole it." Get a cheap streamlight that you can abuse and not miss if it disappears or gets ruined.

I actually meant to do that before I never got around to it before I left the station. I imagine it'd work pretty well.

Heat, water, and random crap aren't gonna ruin it, it's built for combat

The clamp looks pretty solid, as long as you didn't sledgehammer it I don't see why it wouldn't stay on. It was designed to stay on a combat helmet during battle, I think it'll work pretty decent on a fire helmet granted there's a good place to put it.

I didn't mean to shit on your thread. I think that the thing would work for a while, but even things that are MEANT to be in fire don't hold up to fire forever.
