Never played a guitar hero or rock band in my life. But I gotta say, DJ hero looks like fucking fun. Plus I love these types of remixes. I suppose it's all about the music, but I can't wait to get my hands on some Daft.

Here is a good clip of someone playing. Song is catchy too.

Yeah, game also looks hard as shit.

Here is another video of guitar playing alongside. Dunno, compared to guitar hero, dj hero looks fun; in the video at least.

Activision booth had z-trip do a 40 minute set to promote this game. I really way to get some hands on but don't think they have playable demo here at e3 :(

I've been DJing for 13 years, it's a joke IMO.

as much as, or more than, guitar hero can be considered a joke when compared to actual guitar playing?

Ok I actually watched the video and to be honest this doesn't really have anything to do with actual DJing. I guess I feel the same way as a guitarist would towards Guitar Hero. :hsughno:

The only music peripheral that could actually teach you something is the drum set IMO.

:werd: you can't go into any of the others thinking it's going to be anything like playing the actual instrument

I doubt these games are made to teach people about anything related to DJ'ing. Can you really not see yourself just having fun playing the thing?

I haven't played DJ Hero to compare, but I'm willing to bet I'd like guitar hero/rock band better.

I have also been spinning for about 13 years, and I understand where you are coming from. As far as "real" djing goes its obviously nothing close, just seems like it would be entertaining, really would like to get some hands on to see exactly how it works.

No need for real dj elitism...this is just a game. It looks like fun and this is coming from a beatmania freak. I think i owned all but one beatmania for the playstation.

I'm going to give them credit for doing something very different. And i do hope it turns out great and succeeds because of that. Very nice to see something fresh out there :bigthumb:

whats so fresh about basically copying beatmania? They could have done alot more with the aspect of mixing beats, tracks and digital scartching, but I guess its a start in the right direction.
