is there anyone here who likes the hardcore scene (hardcore/metalcore/post-hardcore)?
a lot of people, especially since you were so broad. im a big fan of stuff like reversal of man, combatwoundedveteran, pg99, majority rule, asterisk...
i'm a huge metalcore fan
noizecore, speedcore, terrorcore, gabber...
way too many 'cores
I guess I do, but it depends on what you consider hardcore.
i'm a fan
poison the well? screamo? that's going to get a mighty from me. listen to opposite of december and tell me different.
How many of you listen to traditional hardcore, and not metalcore or "emocore". Yeah, I agree, there's too many 'cores
Definately, next thing you know applecore breakdown skank core is gonne be all the rage. Its infected metal as well, everytime a hardcore band includes a non-punk influence, a new core genre seems to be born.
post-punk-modernist-metal-pre-polka-nouveau is the shit.
madball>* they started this shit
madball did not start 'the scene' i donno who did but there were plenty of hardcore bands before them including the crumbsuckers, agnostic front, hell even sick of it all was around before them i believe.
dude poison the well is defiantly not fucking screamo, and atreyu is not a fucking emo band because they have singing parts to me tuning to C classifies you as some type of metal, plus when was the last time you heard an emo band with guitar parts like atreyu
Tuning doesn't mean shit.
Agnostic Front, Madball, Hatebreed all Own.
PRMike's right, tuning doesn't mean shit. But PTW and Atreyu are metalcore IMHO. Bad metalcore, but still metalcore none the less.
yes. but im goin to bed. please turn off the light
