Anyone know how to replace the buttons in a Pioneer DEH-6000...

    One of the buttons behind the rubber is missing and the rubber is destroyed, other than that the deck is in great shape. Anyone know what to replace?

    :sad2: not really.. i have an old 8000R in my garage doing nothing :( its a bad ass deck too

    Besides get a new faceplate....sadly nothing

    I also have a Pioneer HU (DEH P9200R) and the right track change button has the same shit. Now the left one is starting too. :wtc:

    Contact Pioneer. They may end up giving you a new face plate. That was a common problem on the dehp 6000,7000, & 8000. They changed the design in mid year to a different material for the buttons. My ex-gf got a new face from Pioneer for her 8000. It's worth calling them. I was a manager at Best Buy at the time and remember the recall of the old ones, due to the buttons wearing.
