My situation right now has my classes conflicting with my school's weight room hours. Rather than drive half an hour to a gym where I'd have to buy a membership, I've just been doing a lot of stuff in my dorm room (I've got a few sets of dumbbells). I'm not try to get big or anything and my sports days are over, mostly just looking to maintain.

My only problem is I don't know anything I can do specifically for my chest. Like I said I've got a few sets of dumbbells, a bed, and a chair, no bench. Does anyone have any exercises I can do to at least partially replace me not being able to bench, etc.?

I was trying to figure a way to do DB presses, is it possible to use my bed.

I had thought up trying to rig up some kind of impropteu bench but I've always been a little worried about using unsturdy equipment.

Do that with a heavy medicine ball without that fag ball underneath. Usually you get someone standing above you to throw it directly down to your chest.

There are a bunch of things you can do with heavy medicine balls in a pinch.

Tried it once, took too long and almost broke the damn thing.

Lately I just stick to incline pushups with my feet on a chair.. until I can get to the gym.

Last resort, load your bookbag with a ton of heavy shit.. strap it on tight and do some pushups :hs:

    trying everything.
Leaning forward to hit the chest, back to hit the tris.
Strange thing, no matter wtf I do, I can never get a good pump in my pecks. I can get the delts/tri's but never the chest.
My strength is good (415 raw bench) but the mass just isnt there.

On the dips have you tried using a wider grip? The dip bar at my gym goes like this /\ so it has a narrower section for the tris and wider section for the chest.

Also do you not get a good pump in your chest if you use dumbbells?

im still developing chest routine and doing unassisted dips are non-existant :hsugh:

    re.
Dumbells are good but they dont hit the right spots on me.
I cant vary the width of the dips because the bars are all parallel at my gym.
Ive been trying different techniques over the last 12 weeks and judging the results based on pump, pressure or recovery time.

To be more specific, i get a pump, but I cant seem to build mass on the insides/lower portions of my pecs. All the mass seems to be on the upper portions of them, so I am blaming genetics. I will know more by the summer as the BF drops away and I will get a better look at em.
