    Walther G22?

My range has a couple and they look cool and .22lr so ammo is cheap.

I was thinking about this instead of an AK (WASR10)

    or should I do a $400 buildup on a 10/22?

im absolutely in love with these g22s. the trigger is butter smooth, and its 10xs more accurate than my 10/22. WAY fuckin fun to shoot aswell.

i think he paid $329 for his

The range had them for the rifle, 2 mags and a carrying case that said Walther G22 for $389.
Looked online and price seemed inline.

I may look at one when the time comes.

Its just different.. I have the AR and Mosin.. and I love my AR so much today, I just dont know about an AK.. ammo is still expensive.

.22LR can shoot all day when I am poor

But 10/22s cost $180 new as opposed to $329.

I'd honestly rather have a bolt-action .22 rifle now with good iron sights instead of a 10/22

Only if you buy nice match grade stuff and then it'll outshoot the G22.

If you're looking for a good plinking gun, then the 10/22 is more than accurate enough for it.

the 10/22 does NOT have the fun factor that the walther has.

plus, every family in america has a 10/22, not very many people have a g22

Wouldn't that prove Ruger > Walther?

And more people have them means easier/cheaper parts to find to customize it to your liking if you wish to do so.

And a rifle for $180 vs $329... The difference in prices is like enough .22LR ammo for 5 years of shooting...

im sure if the walther g22 had been around as long as the 10/22 and sold at wal-mart, there would be more around. if you're going to tell me ruger is better than walther, im going to laugh out loud.

if he has the money for the G22, and likes it, why not buy it?

that explains why the repo man came and took the 740il we picked up at the factory in munchen.

he did the same thing to the 745 my mom had before that one too that was also picked up in munchen.

when will she ever learn to buy things within her price range? :uh:

It's his choice and if he likes it, then he should...

Or he could do a $400 build-up on a 10/22 and have a very nice, more accurate than the G22, 10/22...

    And Ruger .22LR > Walther .22LR
