Just wondering cause my uncles' think they may have found one thats been in this guys backyard for a while, they heard it run and sounded pretty good I guess. Just wondering if you guys know of any pages with good info on them, common problems & stuff to look out for. It runs but its not been taken very good care of interior & body wise from the sounds of it, but it is a florida car so hopefully any rust thats present isn't too bad. Thanks :)

Black one is a 69 and the red is a 70 though the red one is a boss 302 not a mach 1.

A Mach 1 will only have a 351 or a 428. Usually have a flat black hood and striping but if its in a banr they may be gone. A shaker hood is more desirable which is the kind that the scoop is attached to the top of the motor and there is a hole in the hood.

The black one is my dads 69 428 cobra jet R code 4 spd. If you have any more questions just ask :)

The Big Block 428 Mach 1 is one of the most desireable classic mustangs, falling under 65-68 shelbys, and 69 and 70 Boss 302s.

    www.stangnet.com is a good place.
