i'm gonna be at my folks' place for a month or so and want to continue training -turns out M1 global has a gym right next to my house. It doesn't look bad at all, but I can't find anything else about it. it's either training there or Legacy MMA, which is legit but it's like a 30-45 minute commute

As a black belt in MMA, I can say that this gym isn't offering anything outstanding

You're not allowed to go there unless you agree to let them co-train with you.

so i took a few classes at the gym

the facility is fantastic- huge space with a ring and cage plus lots of mats. lots of heavy bags, some rope to climb, sledgehammer and tires, and weights with 2 power racks.

instruction is really good. the boxing coach trains amateur andprofessional fighters. the jiu jitsu guy is george soto-whatver's roommate and is really good, dunno his belt though. there is an MMA class that mixes everything up, but it's not really geared towards fighters. no muay thai class either :sad2:

if anyone lives in the SFV, especially the northwest end, i encourage you to check it out. the only negative is the price ($175/mo for unlimited)
