    along with kickboxing which i plan on doing too.

    you don't get light weight, you get as much weight as you want

    It's a good class, usually uncomfortably packed when I do it, so I don't do it as often as I should. I would honestly say that it's a good class for beginners because you learn some of the compound movements (squat, clean and press, bench press, deadlift) early on, and if you want to graduate on to doing weights exclusively, you can use the knowledge you gained that you otherwise would have trouble grasping the technique.

    Note: just don't go ass to grass on the squats, it will fuck your knees up

    they offer it at my gym too...i like watching the class in between doing squats and deads. lots of eye candy gets my heart rate up.

    i would do it if I were interested in getting my endurance up, but i'm not, so i don't.
