I have a chance to pick up a stainless Beretta Neos in my hometown with extra mag, case, and red dot sight for only $200. does anyone have any experience with these? i'd love to have a cheap plinker and this seems to fit the bill. so do ya'll think i should pick it up? can't beat it for $200 and local pick up. thanks!

I just bought one because plinking with .44mag was getting way expensive.... even for reloading.

I put about 100 rounds through it with CCI and not one single failure.

I think it looks cool, fits my hand well and I put a hologram optic on there and I grouped about 3" @ 40 yards as fast I could shoot.

Go for it. I paid $225 brand new and $30 for my optic.

Got one. Definitely good for a cheap plinker. haven't had any difficulties with mine yet. I usually shoot CCI's or WWB

What kind of red dot is that. It kind of looks like an Ultradot which sells for ~$100. I could be wrong though.

I've got one. Love it. Had an issue right when I got it, but talking with some people on other forums at the time, we all had guns built about the same time (and as such, with the same issue.)

Beretta replaced it no charge, and added an extra mag. Since then, never had a single problem with it.

Looks a bit like my $100 Bushnell. There are a number of variants on that design... Perhaps this one? http://www.bushnell.com/general/riflescopes_trophy_73-0131.cfm

It's no Aimpoint, but it seems to work OK. Seen several hundred rounds through the AK without complaint.
