    I'm a complete workout n00b.

I want to get into lifting... right now I usually just do cardio at the gym but I'd like to develop a chest/arms/back.

Can someone point me in the right direction for getting good information on supplements and general nutrition when trying to cut and tone? Thanks

or just post up if you have anything specific in mind..

    all you really need is

    food
    water
creatine - monohydrate or creatine ethyl ester (cee)
    gatorade during workout
and a good 100% whey isolate for post-w/o
    bananas

    that's it.

Don't need gatorade during a weights workout.

depends on the person and the amount of glycogen depletion

Weightlifting doesn't really depend on glycogen. It mostly depends on ATP-CP (thus the effect of creatine supplementation) and glycolisis for fuel, not glycogenolisis.

Before you even buy a supplement, why dont you decide to WORK YOUR FUCKING LEGS? If you say that "they're big already" or that you cycle or play football i'm gonna fucking scream.

Workout your diet.. that's 70% of the game. 20% is your workout.. supplements might add another 10% if you know what you're doing. All the best supplements in the world won't do you any good unless your diet is in check.

Unless you are doing some type of endurance training, water would be sufficient.

The reason you cannot perform anymore reps is due to atp depletion. Thats why you wait in between sets.
