If you live in CA have him take mags apart and ship them. They come apart in like 5 seconds. Now if you choose to reassemble them as 20/30 round mags you are breaking the law... That is unless you bought some before the ban and if you are old enough it is impossible to prove they were not...

as of today you have to be 7 years, 9 months and 23 days old (as to be born 1 day prior to 12/31/99) to be able to legally own a magazine. theres no age limit on them.

it's also not illegal since you are just replacing worn parts

In CA you have to be 18 to purchase mags. So you have to be 25 years 9 months and 23 days old.

Every time I have bought mags I have been carded. I actually sent my nephew to get a few mags at the Ontario gun show last weekend and they wouldn't sell it to him because he wasn't 18.

    :ugh:

also, technically there is no age limit on mags, since you can legally find standard cap mags and keep them :o

And indications are that you can actually still buy them as long as you do it right.

I'm in the market for a 1911 sight staker and rear sight pusher if he has anything like that.

I saw one of the members over at Calguns made a 10/20 PMAG. I'd like to do that myself...especially when it'll only cost $15 per mag.
