Where? Ive been looking around for it and can't find it for less than $100.

  5. it's been sold. and i checked around and couldn't find it new for that price. you might have it mistaken for the 50mm 1.8/E lens which is definitely way cheaper than the D version :dunno:

Hmmm, I'm thinking about a 50mm f/1.4 for New Years, I'll be taking some pictures for my Dad at his wedding. Is it worth the 100-150 premium over the 1.8? Nikon mount BTW.

  9. i have no idea, i was able to get some really nice low-light pictures with the 1.8 already...unless you need that 1.4 for any other specific reason :dunno:

the 50mm is definitely worth it though, i just sorta grew out of photography and never use my camera anymore
