My husband just got accepted to OSI and is going TDY to Georgia for like 5 months. Just curious if anyone else has done so.

    Yes? :dunno:

edit: but on a serious note, one of my best friends when I was active duty AF was in OSI. I always laughed at him for standing to the side of a door when he knocked on it. Guess he'd had one too many bullet holes appear in doors to feel comfortable standing in front of them. :mamoru:

my g/f wants to go OSI...i'm not thrilled by the idea. there's a huge stigma (and rightly so), and i know of a few people who have been wronged by OSI in the past.

i just don't understand how anyone would join the military just to police their own, rather than fight the enemy.

Sorry about him going OSI. The other two choices sound like personal issues.

He's always been interested in law enforcement. So when he enlisted that was kinda the direction he wanted to go, he just got back from K9 training. And plans to be a civilian cop when he gets out. So I guess that was his thought process.
