Been talking to AIM surplus regarding their surplus P225's they're selling, and they've told me that they'll do a discount on their early March shipment if I can get 10 orders. I'm going to talk to the local FFL to see if they'll do any discount on their transfer fee if I bring them a bunch of transfers as well.

Shit, I just bought a Steyr. :wtc: I'd rather not spend any more money until next payday on the 29th.

they won't have them in stock until early march(they're doing two runs, the first comes in friday, but they won't discount those). I'm not planning on placing an order for a week or two anyway.

Well in that case, I might be in for one. Which dealer would you be using?

City Arms in Pacifica is who I've been talking to about this... only way that would change is if I found a dealer that'll do them and for a good bit cheaper.

Too far. :hs: I'd probably use up $50 getting there and back twice.

I'm assuming AIM would be happy to ship to different FFLs?

Last time I checked, Roger's Relics would do it for $65 including DROS. But that was in December. I heard that their rates went up, too.

City is $70 including DROS, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if they'd drop a bit off of that if I'm bringing them 10 transfers. They gave me a 10% discount on my P99 and 10/22 when I purchased them together there... I'm in quite a bit and they know me by name now.

even at $70 for transfer and dros, they're cheaper than a lot of places... wouldn't surprise me if they'd take $10-15 off that, but until I speak to them, it's hard to say.

I have to wait another week or so until my 30 days from my last pistol purchase is up... I really should stop spending money on this stuff, but it's such a hell of a deal.

This is going to be my toy/project gun. Going to strip it down completely and try my hand at refinishing it. Just not sure what style I want to go for.

Torn between a wood grip/silver finish or something like the equinox.

I can talk to my FFL holder if you guys want to make an order. Located in Kansas City so he would get them fast and could ship them out too.
