Looking for protein shakes that are nondiary. I noticed the FAQ says that soy milk products are bad. That kinda limits this search.

    +1

i sorta grew out of it tho. Only products made with hella lactose or whole milk seem to affect me now. Then it only just gives me slight gas.

    I am.

I am only mildly lactose intolerant though. I am fine with yogurt, cheese, etc.... But I cannot drink milk and have trouble with things that have lacto-additives. For this reason I cannot have Necture whey (which tastes amazing, mind you). Therefore I am stuck taking Substance WPI which is not all that great... but at least it does not have any lacto in it.

    Thanks for tips guys!

I'll check out: Substance WPI and isopure.

I wasn't always lactose intolerant. I only miss ice cream thought. Cheese I never really liked and it isn't that good for you either. :wiggle:

Many that are lactose intollerant are fine with yogurt.

    Do you mean Nectar whey?
AST's VP2 is one of the few good whey proteins for me because of lactose intollerance.
Musclemilk gets my stomach feeling a little funky but worth it anyway.

I'm lactose-intolerant and ON Whey works perfectly. Much cheaper than all of those other isolate proteins like Substance WPI as well.

:werd: lactaid brand. my roomates aren't lactose intolerant but buy lactaid milk anyway because it doesnt expire for like 2 months, as opposed to what a week or two for normal milk? not much more expensive either

ON has lactase, which is an enzyme to help with intolerance.

  25. According to the box you have to drink it up within 7 days.
