I'm REALLY itching to have a nice sized monitor to switch my pc and powerbook in between. :)

any reviews of it? how much desk real estate does it take?

I currently have the 20 inch display with another 19 inch LCD. I currently switch back and forth between my PC(19") and Mac Mini(20") using a KVM switch. I definitely like Apple's 20" LCD, but was debating between it and the Dell one. But keep in mind, Apple's LCD only has the DVI connection while the DELL has a bunch of others.

I got the student discount which took off another $100 of the LCD, so that helped. All in all, I'm very happy with the Apple LCD.

    Bolicious,
What kind of desk is that or where did you get it from. I am in the market for a l-shaped desk and that one looks pretty sweet

I've got the 20 at home and just got a 24 at work (both dells) and I really am wishing I would have got the 24 at my home office. I might just need to sell the 2005fwp and get the 2405 in the coming months.

I've been using both a 23" Apple display and the 20" at work. They are both beautiful. I would highly suggest either of them.

The 2005FPW and the Apple 20" Cinema Display use the SAME LCD panel from LG Phillips. There was a good review a while ago that compared them, and found that the rest of the components used in the 2005FPW were nicer than the Apple monitor (including the backlight), and recommended the 2005FPW.

    I have 3 of them. :p

Find someone w/an Apple discount (especially employee) and you can get dual 20's for the price of one 23".

My friend who hooked me up w/my purchase mentioned this to me but I didn't have the room. :(

Does anyone here regret not getting the 23" Display? I'm thinking about buying a new monitor soon...and am having difficulty deciding between the 20" & 23".

Thanks! I love it now that its setup the way I want it. If anyone remembers how it looked before I moved, they'd appreciate it more!
