I just recently stopped most of my free weight lifting and started working more body weight exercises. Id like to be able to do at least 2 one armed pulls/chins, 10 unassisted handstand push ups and 5 unassisted planche push ups within the next 5 months. The workouts are really hard though and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these.

I'm not really into bw stuff but it does keep you honest. It's retarded to have a 1500lb total and not be able to do 10 pullups

Yeah, moving big weight is cool and all but having the skill to do some pretty difficult body weight movements is awesome.

how many handstand pushups can you get? ive managed 3, i always thought my handstands were pretty solid until i started trying these, im walking all over the place. i think ill have a proper one armed chin pretty soon, i just dont have the strength when my arm is fully extended, plus it hurts like a bitch.

i just started working planche pushups but with my feet on the ground and i was extremely surprised at how much more difficult they are then regular pushups. that and they work the hell out of my wrists.

Wow planche pushups look hard as hell, balance would kill me on all of those. Congrats on that target goal.

no really giving up weights, just cutting back some to work on bw exercises, especially since these tend to be things you cant do with out putting a lot of time and practice into them.

Crossfit sounds right up your alley.

I have to do a lot of bodyweight exercises in jiu jitsu class. They are a good workout.

hahah, there are people who have a 1500lb total and can't do those things? Wtf

For some reason I thought it'd be possible with numbers like that.
