minus the "valeo" printing, that looks exactly like the $8 pairs i bought from walmart.

    just get to it.

search interweb for "renegade rope training"

yeah I got a weighted jump rope from walmart for $8. Rotator cuff, calves, and good cardio workout. After a couple weeks of doing it you will be a pro

I got a jumprope over the weekend also and I haven't jumped rope since I was a kid. The most I can do without tripping up is about 20 seconds but I'm gonna keep praticing. I'm trying to get in shape and jumping rope seems to work my legs really well.

I saw the ones with the handles that you can put weights in, seemed kinda cool. There is this one on ebay that is suposably the best jumprope in the world, it was 29.99+shipping, it can turn 5-6 rotations per second, the rope looked like it was steel braided or something

I started jumping rope seriously about 2 months ago. When I started - I was pathetic. I could only go like 30 seconds..

Now - I vary my speeds, rope lengths etc. I usually go for 2-3 minutes per time and try to do 5 or more sets. I do not use a weighted jump rope though, I am considering buying one here soon for home. I use the gym's rope when I jump while training.

I just bought one today. I'm trying to try a change of pace other than running, until I can afford a new bike :hs:

funnily enough i just came in from jump roping for ~30 minutes. I was soaked by the end of it :bigthumb:

I've improved SO much in the one week that i've been doing it. it's definitely an excellent addition to any workout routine :)
