PE is basically a depression/indentation in the chest. My case is very mild, not severe enough for surgery.

I'm wondering if anyone with it has or had a hard time working out their chest. I just joined a gym and I'm trying to figure out the best exercise plan so someone other than me wouldn't notice that I have PE.

Mine isn't that bad. I haven't been to the gym in years but when I did bench presses, there was no pain.

I have it, its pretty mild too.

From all account I have heard, working out makes it look WORSE. You can't build muscle over the dent. There is no muscle over the sternum. YOu build your pecs up and shit and it will just make the dent look deeper.

Honestly you really have 2 choices. Surgery or letting it be. Even the vacuum bell thing doesn't really work.

    It sucks man

Yeah, unfortunately I can't afford the surgery right now. Plus that bar stays in your chest for like 2 years which will hamper any/all of my goals.

 Damn you didn't even notice?

I went on a few dates the past couple weeks and I had all the girls feel my chest just to gauge their reaction. It's kind of a funny conversation starter. I didn't get any really weird looks yet. :o

Friend of mine has or had it, i haven't talked to him in a few years. He started working out and it looked worse. He hasn't had the surgery to my knowledge.

Although, he did used to use it to hold snack food while lounging and watching tv :o

well, she was really tall and skinny and was a model in high school/college, so I think the fact she was kinda small chested to begin with kinda hid it well.
