I have been looking at them online and want to know if they are nice. For some reason I have always loved the TL and decided fawkit I am going to get one and keep my other cars instead of going high end etc. with 1 car. Then I saw a TL Type-S on the road and then saw one the other night at a restaurant so I started doing research etc.

Anyone here have one and will comment?

    I don't have an Type-S but I have a regular 04 6spd.

They are quite nice. I was in the same boat, when they came out I always thought they looked excellent. Mine now has 63000 miles on it, the only problems really have been the check engine light flashing but mine is in the range that they had a problem with that.

The biggest complaint I've heard is of the transmissions not holding up so well *6spd* The Acura TL forums would be a much better place to get more answers

Wow, long time no see, Tim!

As for the TL, my friend has a the "non" S type and it is actually VERY nice. If the S is an upgrade, it will be worth it. Have you looked at the Lexus offerings as well?

    I think silver_surfer has one.

I'd advise you not to get it, get an IS or a 3 series instead.

wait the Type S has 286 HP? How much does the standard have? You would figure it would have more hp than a G35
