I see some people use it to aid in fat loss.

How does it compare to the kind that is usually sold in pill form?
Is it better than taking caffeine pills?

I know the pill form of GT is convenient, but its expensive and we got it in tea-bag form for free here at work. Oh...is it going to keep me awake? Im falling asleep here :hsugh:

Yeah I love green tea. I mainly drink it for the antioxidant benefits it provides. Loose leaf is the way to go.

I like it for the same benefits.

Some of my co-workers bring the leaves that go directly in the mug and are pretty strong. They buy it from China somehow. It is strong as hell either way, and tastes great.

From what I've read Green Tea extract...specifically EGCg >>> drinking green tea. That said... I take NOW EGCg as well as drinking it too.

Yah it isnt the best replacement to coffee for energy but it will be alot more healthier. Concerning weight loss, it does help but you have to excercise a little if you want to see some drastic weight loss. What green tea does is improves your metabolism which helps burn calories and sometimes fat.

I have one each morning. Not for fat loss but it's a replacement for coffee for me.

Not sure. I've read that EgCG may make up anywhere from 10-50% of the catechins in a cup soo.. it could just be a matter of quantitiy and not being practical to consume enough.

Supposedly adding pepper to green tea makes the EGCg in it more bioavailable.
