    i'm thinking there's not much reason to bring the 70-200, since most of my shots will be landscapes.

    10-22 & 24-70 should be able to fit the bill just fine, don't you think?

    :dunno:

    thought about buying the 5DmkII for the trip, but don't want to have to go buy a few more batteries & a new wide angle too. :o

    Buy the 5d2 and trade the 10-22 for a 17-40 :o

    what's your current camera? 10-22 & 24-70 sound perfect for this trip.

    I don't see any reason to why you need the 5d2....
