Just finalizing the details to be headed to the MGM with my bro for UFC 74. (especially since Huerta is now on the card ..a college buddy of mine)

This is a once in a lifetime kinda thing, so the cost isnt an issue, has anyone here actually been live to an event? Im curious as to what are the best tickets to get? I wanna sit on the floor as close as possible, but Ive heard the cameramen and such get in the way. So I have heard, being up a little ways isnt bad at all....

Can anyone give any tips or opinions on when to get there? what tickets to buy? and anything else is general?

I cant remember which organization it was but i went to watch a friend fight at the Orleans in vegas last year. I think we had perfect seats...about 15 rows back. We could see the fight without the fence blocking our view. Floor seating was kinda screwed because the cage was raised. People also tend to get up and walk around alot down there.

I guess you will have to look into the stadium itself. I don't think you will be dissappointed if you got as close to the cage as possible. It'll be fun wherever you sit :)

A guy I roll with at school went to the Couture/Silvia fight and then this past week to the Lidell/Rampage fight. :eek3: I think he's planning to go to another this year as well.

Yeah, he's been at 2 big upsets. I'm not sure what else he's trying to go to, but he's young, has a good job, and doesn't own a house, so he's got a lot of play money for that kinda thing.

I would only think about it if I planned on going to multiple events, since I would have to buy two memberships (one for my wife, who is almost as big a fan as I am).

Just buy tickets in the $300-$500 range and you'll enjoy yourself.

In Vegas $300-$500 is a couple hours entertainment no matter what you do... why not see a fight?
