I know the scope and detail of the series is beyond the patience/interest of 99% of OTers, but I was wondering if anyone plays this series. I bought Wolves of the Pacific last year and have been playing it in my spare time. I'm only up to November 1944 I learned how to do "blind" and TDC-less torpedo firing solutions. Cool as shit not being able to see an enemy but can tell where he is, what heading he's bearing, and how fast he's moving and slam a couple torpedoes into him all using sonar and triangulation. I always hated math, but plotting firing solutions using trig is satisfying as all hell. I wonder if Ubi has plans to take the series out of WWII any time soon. I would LOVE to see a modern sub sim (Virginia class subs, anyone!?!? ) that uses a theoritical future war with like Russia or China.
