I have a few sites on their grid system that are down long after their maintenance hours were supposed to be over. Anyone else?

they can handle non database driven sites very well. but even a fucking wordpress install is slow as balls in molasses.

I dropped Mediatemple for Dreamhost about a year ago because of how slow the database servers were, and as I'm sure you know, that says a lot. They've gone downhill since the GridServer system (which I beta tested) was put in place. For a hosting company that bills themselves as a premium hosting provider, their services simply don't stack up.

Since then I've switched from Dreamhost to Slicehost and I'm not looking back.
