like below the lats on the sides of the spinea errectors, below the rhomboids, or actually under the lats?

I get that pain too, but only when I work the rhomboids.

I'm not the best person to recommend a medical procedure or to diagnose, but why not see someone who practices therapy/ART/chiro? I went into my doctor's office with a whole slew of problems all over my body, and he used ART and got me healthy again. It cost me $100 the first visit, and $50 each subsequent visit. Its worth a shot, and I was very happy with my results.

check www.activerelease.com for practitioners. I wasted a few trips to the hospital where 3 doctors wanted to do surgery, my doctor fixed the problems for a total of 8 weeks of treatment even with a reinjury.
