    The $100ish dollar one.

I just bought one and have been reading some reviews on newegg. I've never read any reviews on there before so I don't know if it's just a bunch of idiots or not. Some say the drive quit working after a few days but the majority of the people say it's awesome.

I have one. I've had it for around a year now. It works great.

I'm just assuming that maybe a few had couple bad ones.

Also, they come FAT32 formatted and that maybe why people are having issues because they didn't convert to NTFS.

    Well that was neat.

1 day of owning this drive I came home from work and the two lights were going back and forth and I can't find drive on my computer. I unplugged USB replugged back in nothing, I unplugged power and replugged it in and now it won't even light up.

    Well what the hell?

I unplugged it from the computer again and replugged it in and it finally stayed on.

    I have a 1TB INTERNAL WD..

Newegg ships bare drives. Maybe that's why so many people ended up with DOAs or defective drives. If you order from WD, you get more packaging I assume.

I have a 2TB MyBook Studio II, and it's been pretty awesome. The eSATA doesn't want to work with my computer because the required WD software won't run on Vista x64, but the Firewire port has worked flawlessly
