Should I consider it or just pick up an sb800?
Need more details about your setup and you intentions.
i'd get an SB600
what do you need an 800 for?
no other questions needed ... no one can respond until you respond
I do some photo shoots, but mostly events (night, bad lighting) and I'd use it for fill light for day shots outside.
jesus, do you shoot Nikon, Canon, Olympus?
i think you missed SB-800
get the SB-600, it's cheaper and has all the features you need
A lot of Canon shooters in the Strobist group use SB's
do you really think that intellex is an experienced strobist?
yeah? even i know that intellex uses a D200.
I dont' even know who the hell he is, let alone what he shoots or what he does with his time
Sorry, I don't follow along. None the less, buy the SB
you don't pay attention much, then. he's made many threads about his purchase...
go with the sb-800 or sb-600.....
If you need a shit tonn of light ... get the Metz.
The CL-4 has a small fill light to help with bounce ... it really is a beautiful flash.
Get the Metz.
I use the CL-4 and it's the fucking tits.
I actually went with the sb800
