    how soft is the soft focus on that lens?

    review says it has 3 settings, normal, soft focus 1 and soft focus 2 :dunno: no idea what that means

    its sharp, but feels really plasticy. at 0 its almost as sharp as its L counterpart.

    there are really more than the 0-1-2 settings as everywhere in between 0-1 and 1-2 are adjustable.

    its really only noticeable when set at 2.8-4, but easily overdone.

    85 f/1.8 is a great portrait lens.

    I've used the 135 f/2 on a film body and got decent results, but think it might be a bit long on a crop sensor, especially if your in a studio.

    I think you're right, I have no idea what I'm going into as this is my first workshop :noes: I think I may wait until my stimulus check comes and I'll pick up this lens, it seems more fitting for what I'm looking for :bigthumb: thanks!
