    Bleh!

Spend the extra $200 and get a Surefire X200b.

Yeah, I've run into that problem; but then again, I have over $1,500.00 in Surefires; don't know if that's good or bad? Hey, they're good lights and nothing holds a candle to them. (Pun intended.)

Shit me two hundred more dollars and I'm down. :fawk:

For now, the TDi mount works great. I don't have even close the dollar amount of guns that you have in fucking flashlights.. I'm po and in college and yet you still tempt me with your SureFire forends, and DuraCoated 1911's.. I mean, have mercy, man. Jesus. :wtc:

Works AWESOME. Surefire really made the LED kick ass. It's a bright little fucker. And the cool halo effect impresses everyone, haha.

The difference in the X200 A and B is that version B has a different optic that creates a tighter beam coupled with a more stipled reflector which creates a sharper beam. I haven't been able to examine the regulator on the B but I've heard even the regulator is a bit different. It's gonna be hard to improve on the X200B, outside of perhaps better regulators and a tighter sandwich the B is a nice light. When the A version came out, some of the engineers were opposed to releasing it which lead to the B model.

My ideal handgun mounted light would be a lux 5 running on a CR2, with a runtime of probably 10 minutes @ 80-90 lumens, not too bad considering you'd hardly even be able to see the light mounted on the gun. My one concern is with the size of the side-by-side mounted 123As for handgun use is that the lights are too big to EDC. Which these lights would be really nice if it were contained in a smaller package, in which case I would be able to mount the light on the bottom of my EDCd G23 in an emergency situation.
