    I dont understand how people can pay more then $40-50 for a blade :dunno:

    I think $40-50 is the bottom edge of a good "working" knife. solid lock, good steel. They can be had there, but $40-100 seems to be where all the "good" knives are.

    how do you use the wrench part...? are you suppose to grip the blade to get leverage? :eek3:

    i think $40 is a good place to start for a "good" knife and $150 is my limit. $100 is the sweet spot me thinks.

    I think I remember someone saying they were made by Benchmade under license from $ureFire, but I don't remember for sure.

    Hmm, first time I've heard that. I know HK is in cahoots with BM for their knives. But if the Sf knives were I'd expect to see an axis lock.

    As far as I know they are made in house at Surefire. I played with one at Surefire's booth at SHOT. They are typical great SF quality but I think the price is high for what they are.

    I never understood the kife fetishists...

    From what I hear, the Surefire knives have a lot of qualities that can be found in knives from other companies at about half the cost.
