    yes, very good product.

a local kayaking club here has a yearly auction to benift river acces and pelican always donates over 1000 dollars worth of various pelican cases.

They are good for alot more them cameras.

This is my 1600. It is a bit bulky for carrying long distances so most of the time the gear stays in the DaKine Sequence. I love the build quality of these
cases and it is also great if you need to keep equipment locked up.

Pelicans rock, period. For ANYTHING. Period.

I use them for cameras, hand guns, Handheld GPS, on and on. There is a Pelican for everything.

Anyway. I am a Surveyor / Engineer, in Alaska. We use Pelican's for all of our gear. $35,000 Total Stations, $50,000 GPS head units and radios. The cases are everything proof, nearly indestructible, and a secure storage box.

Sorry to have gotten on the soap box, but they really rock. My advice is to find a local retailer for them, and check them out for yourself, as far as what you need goes. All the boxes (with the exception of very few "s[ecific purpose" models) come full of the foam that is perforated into like 3/8" cells so you can customize the interior to your needs.

They do have a couple models, if you have a lot of shit, that have wheels and handles that slide into the back for storage.

......No, I do not work for them..lol. I just use the shit out of them and they never fail.
