Don't they take Glock mags? Have fondled a few at fun shows just never really dropped the money on one. Thinking of getting one for shits and giggles.

    GO!

I've yet to hear anything particularly good about those.

Had one, usual keltec quality, went back to the factory because of stovepipes, they sent me one back with a new receiver, worked fine with fmj, still didn't feed 147gr ranger, sights and trigger blew, sold it. Also pistol cartridge in a rifle size is kinda worthless and boring.

My friend had one. It made a good truck gun, compact, reliable, accurate enough. Took glock mags which helped cause he had a glock. Fun with 33 rounders.

Definitely not rifle size, things tiny.

thought it might be kinda fun to have since I have 2 glocks. I've seen some pictures out there of a briefcase style case that had the sub and a glock and mags in it.

They make them to accept Glock 17, 19, 22, 23, SIG 226, or S&W 59 mags, so be certain you know which one you're getting.

The few FTF I've had with my G22 variant were a function of the shitty ammo rather than the gun.

For what it costs, and the ability it offers to conceal inside a briefcase or backpack plus enabling you to easily make hits at 100yrd+ while feeding off your carry guns mags, I'm very happy with it.

Of any pistol caliber carbine, it is the one I see the most practical advantages to.

My friend had one and it was decently fun to shoot. He had the glock 17 mag version and in the few range trips we shot it, I never saw it have any trouble. I didn't like where the charge handle was though.

Like was said though. Makes a decent truck gun or BOB gun.

A common thread I've come across when discussing the things is "How many times did I have to send the Sub-2000 back to Kel-Tec...?"

Feeding problems, jamming, and the pivot point breaking at random after light use seem to be themes.

I lost interest early on so I did not bother to try to track down the exact model or caliber that seems to break down the most. They would be comically small for me anyway with my long-ish arms (AK stocks are downright claustrophobic for me).

Having handled them at gun shows a few times, they feel none too sturdy.

Stock sight supposedly sucks but I think blue force gear makes replacements. That and how dirty it is. People said the first version was the best (SUB-9?)

SUB9 was debatably better; it was a heavier, metal body, but it had more screws that had a tendency to shoot loose.

BFG was making some accessories for it, and you may still be able to find one of their improved front sight/rail assemblies, but they're not doing anything currently. Problem with making high quality parts for a budget gun is most people don't want to pay $100 for a replacement sight.

I have 36-37 ape arms, I don't have any issues shouldering it.

I've finger fucked one before, wasn't particularly impressed. Doesn't look very substantial but I guess thats because you can fold it in half.

What's the going price on one?
