How do you like it? Kinda MPG do you get?

Im thinking about picking up one for a DD, I have 3k in GM points and with 0% payments would be dirt cheap.

Drove one but I wasn't super impressed. Then again I went from a Evo VIII to a Mazdaspeed6. I have grown up and need to get something cheap with warranty.

I have one. I really like it. I get 28 MPG mixed highway/street. I just went to Vegas, so SoCal to Vegas and I averaged 32MPG, I was up as high as 35MPG at one point. I've got 65k miles on my 2005 and I've only done oil changes like once a year, I'm horrible at remembering that. I would certainly recommend it for a daily driver.

Yea, the SS is a good cheap "sports" car. I might have to drive it again and give it another shot. Its just not a Evo is my big problem :hs:

Maybe twice a year. I dunno. I just wait for the dealer to send me a notice then I procrastinate for several months after that until I have it done. I was just trying to illustrate a point about it being low maintenance and no problems.

Cobalt XFE gets 37mpg. I havent driven one, but did ride in one that my friend got as a rental. She liked it a lot.

The Pioneer stereo and interior bits on the more upscale models looks nice, even though they feel cheap. Comfortable, reasonably quiet, practical, unassuming.

i just couldnt let myself drive a base level 4 cylinder these days, they are so slow. You are only gettign one because of the GM credits you have, and the SS really isnt very expensive at all.

The Cobalt SS is the only Chevy under $60k that I would get.

Meh. I hardly ever have free time to have it done, and it runs fine, so if that makes me a retard, so be it.

    True.

Im only thinking about GM stuff because of the 3k GM points, otherwise I sure as hell wouldn't buy a GM. The dealer close to me has one for $23,111, but if you take the 0% its 25,600 :ugh: and they refuse to work the numbers on it.
