Are you able to push a single transfer more than 1.4MB/sec (10mbit) on a 100mbit uplink?

I can do 12MB/sec from planet -> planet, but planet -> outside world is only hitting @ 1.4MB/sec.. I can do multiple 1.4s at the same time though.

    Fucking pissing me off.

They aren't answering my trouble ticket either.

I confirmed this on multiple boxes, and the downstream on the target is not the issue. Protocol is FTP.

Never had this issue before. Maybe they can read my mind, and know that I am doing this xfer to cancel this server. :o

They probably suspect what you're doing, they did that to me when they were charging 2k a month for my server. Faggots then went ahead and increased the speeds noticeably so I wouldn't be able to transfer ny shit. I cancelled with them and "canceled" to them is oh you have to call and let them know you're not going to need the service 30 months ahead from the actual cancelation. =/

Call them up and reference your ticket number. They're pretty good about tickets if you know how to light a fire under their asses.

I finally made it to NOC techs.

"We're not throttling... but DL this file from your test box"

    ... 11MB/sec

"we made a change on the test server, now try it again it from the same box"

    .... 1.4MB/sec

"Please stand by while we have our technical support team make some changes on your server. Thank you for your patience. "

Yeah. Like removing the throttle rules.

Never had an issue with them but then again I don't really push shit for traffic.

I do miss Rackshack they were much faster and helpful than TP back in the day.. Will probably get a few boxes at softlayer when I do upgrades later in the summer they seem to get a lot of favorable reviews.
