I think that's the same one my buddy got for his M&P compact... I know it's at least same brand and he loves it.. says the button to release has your finger preset in exactly the right spot when you pull the gun out of the holster.

the only thing I don't like about those is they obviously are rougher on your gun so it's going to show on the finish faster than nylon or leather ect... However it holds it in very close and makes for a good open/outter carry holster. My buddy has done nothing but praise over it.
    Here's a thread on it

I have one for my G19, and had one for my 2022, and both of them seemed to hold up very well. I actually love the retention mechanism, but it got some pretty scary reviews. Foreign matter could get caught under the mechanism and fail to release the weapon (only happened once that I heard of, but it's kinda scary).

I like most of the blackhawk stuff over most of what else is out there. I have an Uncle Mikes holster now, and it's crap.

I would LOVE to get another SoTech, but I no longer have a hookup there :( SOE makes good stuff, too... They made my Strider kydex/nylon sheath.

I have one for the G19, it's ok, nothing phenomenal, just a kydex with a locking mechanism.

No better or worse than any either of the two XD gear kydex's I have for the XD40

    Here you go dudes...

    http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/38926-47587-1968.html

    $29.99

for EDC, it's okay. I'd prefer a bood IWB holster in leather. For competitve shooting, they're crap and not highly praised at all. They're obviously not very fast for drawing out of. I'm guessing their niche is for "security" "on duty"?

Sorry for the shitty pics... camera is about to tossed soon.

Bought the serpa holster for my G19, and a thigh holster since techincally it was cheaper than buying hte 2 seperate. Plus I can change out the hoslter for my .45 later

I don't like 'em. They feel flimsy to me.
    Got a Safariland instead.

well I bought a nice nylon drop-leg for when I'm in the woods. However, for around-town open-carry I did pick up a CQC Serpa. As I have previously mentioned, I hate the fake-carbon-fiber-wannabe-basketweave.... And it sucks because that's all they sell locally. But I got a deal on one for 19.99 :wiggle: So I decided to give it a try. It's a decent holster for the price. However, I decided to take the fake crap off. The fake shit is just a sticker that they put on the holster -- it peels right off in one piece. A little bit of rem-oil and 2 mins of scrubbing and it looks much better now.
